IMHO they have a point. The software improvements have not kept the imaginative pace that Jobs' had set(demanded?) when he was alive.



The illustration shown on that link indicates that the Android platform supports an intermediate structure going between pure button-select and individual apps. It evidently contains some generic apps, such as dat-time...



This would be particularly useful if there's a way for a user to customize his pages, particularly the first page - the one that appears after sliding it open.
