I didn't see what he did or what he used. A list came up and he showed that to me. He also pointed out what he said were piggyback crap that gets installed when updates are made. An example is when Java gets updated and they tack on Ask.com and their toolbar. Had a lot of that stuff. You have to make sure to UNcheck the boxes or you get the unwanted stuff.

We went through another list and deleted a bunch of stuff. Lots of stuff I didn't recognize and didn't know how it got on the computer. I don't do that much downloading and have no idea how I got so much. I now know where to look and what to get rid of.
