Thanks PW. I would probably need an instruction manual to carry all that out! Certainly would need a lot more info. 1. Looking at the list of 'maintenance' I carry out weekly, is there anything that stands out to you as being important that I should be doing but am not? Perhaps just the top few things you think are most important, and hopefully fairly simple to carry out. 2. What do you recommend to make an image of the system? I heard about Acronis True Image for the first time today (earlier post from SI Ron). 3. Regarding maintenance and clean-up procedures, I want websites to 'remember' my log in information, so for example, I don't have to re-log in to Morningstar each time I do a clean-up procedure. So I guess that means I don't want to remove tracking cookies. I visit a lot of websites and it's much easier if they just automatically log me in. Plus I don't remember all my passwords. So for example, when I run CCleaner, I uncheck some things so the cookies are not removed.
