And you need not spend $750 either. I agree, I've been happy with a 5C which goes for $550 off contract, or the 16 GB 5S is only $650. On the other hand, since Techlover is on Sprint (my condolences), I don't believe they have an off-contract rate discount, so an iPhone probably won't cost him any more than $200.
