Hi Hop: In reviewing this thread, I came to the conclusion that you are a Techie. I need to understand the technology to better understand my investment and so I would appreciate your response to my layman's questionnaire. a: Does Bay have an open architecture in its product line or do their products usually serve a system upgrade mkt. b: What is the difference between an Adaptive Router and an IP switch. c: Are not Routers/Hubs giving way to IP switches at the Enterprise, ISP and Telco's. d: CSCO's R&D is reputed to be working on a 60GBPS router, will Bay have anything to match that. e: What percentage of total techie man hours are spent with ISP's,Enterprises and Telco's .
