Spell Ekati backwards and what do you get.....interesting choice of names dont you think...... Its Dene, they wanted some northern names in use, its supose to refer to the white quartz veins in the area which reminded the elders who visited the site as the fat on a caribou , after you skin them out of course.
The first tractor I drove was an old John Deere, so have a soft spot for them. Will have to see if I can find the magazine you talk of.
