There are no other tools in its class. Its optics are unique. As you pointed out, they have the only "Step and Scanner" type tools in production, though the others are catching up.

SVGI's biggest problem is that they can't produce as many as they could sell. Whether they expected the 96 downturn to last for 3 years or were just shortsighted is a question that I can't answer. But they do seem to have been very slow at adding the necessary capacity.
