Now comes the hard part. This past week mirrored the '89 period
almost to a "T". Five straight down days in each case. But now what?

I call it "What's Next?"

To get a clue if this comparison will continue, look for
an "inside day" on Monday, with a plus closing.
(an inside day is one in which the range for the day is contained
between today's -Friday's- high and low.)

For those of you who think all this is just so much dribble....
I've seen these comparisons in other markets over many years of
market watching and you would be amazed (spooked?) by how well they
play out.

And remember, what we've been following is almost 3 months of
data that has virtually been mirrored. It's not like this is a
5 or 6 day pattern. The longer the period involved the more
potentially legitimate it can become.

Happy Xmas shopping and maybe Santa will fill our stockings
with a continued comparison.
