But we already know that CBO has projected an increased minimum wage to the level the President was asking for would result in 500K or more jobs lost, on a net basis.

Of course welfare creates an incentive not to work. But that is overcome, by a wide margin, by the incentive created by minimum wages for employers not to hire.

It is a stupid thing that punishes the poor and keeps them enslaved to the government. There is no more anti-labor regulation in existence than the minimum wage.
