Larry,

I agree, I do not care about Furman Selz or what they think. I do how ever care about ASND's sales and earnings. My question was an attempt to clarify my expectations for ASND. I own some shares so therefore I expect the price of the shares to rise. Why do I expect that? I would like to be part owner of a company which sells a good product in a market which is growing quickly so that I may enjoy the financial reward of the profit to be made. A $1.25 EPS for ASND next year seems reasonable to me and provides a basis for such an expectation. Especially one which lends itself to a pattern which if extrapulated into 1999 provides for even more future rewards. If I expected ASND to earn 20 cents a quarter for the next five quarters I would not keep them for that reason, maybe takeover or a technolgical break through, but not earnings. If these estimates are correct it will be due more to coincidence than Furman's analytical ability.
