23-May-14 12:55 ET In Play FireEye upgrade details (33.10 +0.81) : As mentioned earlier, Barclays upgraded FEYE to Overweight from Equal Weight. They say Product vs. subscription creates interesting dynamic between line items: One of the biggest questions they heard from investors after the results a few weeks ago was around the lower-than-expected product revenue, which was viewed by some investors as slowing momentum in the marketplace. As a reminder, the Incident Response service acquired from Mandiant often pulls-through incremental sales of Managed Defense product or subscriptions - the latter of which was noted as being particularly strong and creating the variance between line items.
