HG: you'll have to pardon my impulsiveness; and, I apologize to Archie too. I should not and could not expect any of you to accept my obvservations blindly. Believe me, I am probably more of a skeptic than anyone on this board. I am, and have been for a number of years, a day and short term player. After speaking with Baker, and hearing his discourse on Select, it became apparent to me where all the shs. have been coming from; as well as the slide in the price; also, what has allowed it to happen. I sometimes get annoyed when people don't wish to take possession of their certificates; but, I also understand the all of the problems associated with requesting them.
Who am I? I am a 60 year old retired individual who has lived in Largo, Fla. since 1962. I retired from the Trucking and Sand and Gravel business 15 years ago, and have been quite lucky with the market. In 1987 (the "big one") I borrowed on everything I owned and bought 2 stks. that were trading for a fraction of their book values: Goodyear Tire [14.00] and MCI [1.50]. The rest is history. I now have a substantial net worth, and day play the market for fun.
I can only say that, after what I did see today, I would hold on to this company for a little while: it is there and operating, and is quite impressive.
