Yes, but my impression was that the parents called the police due to the videos. Why didn't they call a therapist? Of course, maybe they did, but the kid is too old to be forced to go to one, and then they called the police. Didn't the police watch the videos? I watched a couple of minutes of one, it made me sick. But he wasn't the stereotype of a Hollywood "madman killer." Of course, none of those guys are--look at Gacy as one example. People loved the guy, he entertained at hospitals and other non-profits, was honored in civic groups, blah blah blah. Don't the police have profilers who can spot these guys based on things like those videos?
Oh, nevermind, I'm sure you're right. He was on good behavior, a smart kid with manners and rich parents, the police are going to let that kind of kid slide. |
