I wonder how much power it would take to pump the water, let along the cost of the pipeline. A lot. I don't know how much, but a whole lot. A cold Winter made the difference on the lakes, ice caps make for little evaporation. Exactly. How often will we get a Polar Vortex that pushes Arctic air south? I suppose it depends on the dynamic that creates the Vortex. Only time will tell.
