Maybe we need a Clinton in the white house along with a GOP controlled congress? Seemed to work well last time. More than 50% are independent or moderate these days so makes sense as the end game at least to me..

Most scary to me is the steepness of the boom bust cycles will make it difficult no matter what by then as I fear the ramifications of continued QE and ZIRP continuing for 2-3 more years along with loose lending standards and speculation coming back.
