Plymouth Minerals ( ASX:PLH) has completed its first phase of drilling at the Morille Tungsten-Tin project in Spain, intersecting scheelite mineralisation in numerous drill holes.

Assay results for the first 12 holes have been received, in addition to several historical drillholes not previously reported.

Significant intercepts from the new program included 5 metres at 0.24% tungsten including 2 metres at 0.42% tungsten.

Historic results returned 1.45 metres at 0.95% tungsten from 19.35 metres and 6.25 metres at 0.29% tungsten from 26.75 metres.

All samples from latest drilling have been despatched in batches for analysis and final results are expected in 4 to 5 weeks.

Metallurgical testwork remains ongoing.

Morille is an advanced brownfields development opportunity comprising five exploration licences covering multiple historic underground and open pit tungsten and tin mines.

It covers a contiguous area of over 57 square kilometres with more than 50 documented mineral occurrences.

Notably, at the Groupa San Pedro prospect, historic mining was terminated at the edge of a mineralised field due lack of access, however Plymouth has secured access to this field.

Plymouth is valued at $4 million and retains a healthy $1.7 million in cash.
