China can bully all they want, but if they invade it would be a world wide catastrophe for them.


Who would stop them if they simultaneously invaded SE Asia overland from the North and West (through former North Vietnam and neutral Laos), and from the East by sea?

It is only about 1,000 miles from Hanoi to Saigon and they now have modern improved hi-ways and heavy rail all the way.

Heck, we couldn't stop the NVA when they used similar, but then primitive, overland routes to kick us out of Vietnam, and they had no naval capability to simultaneously invade by sea.

I doubt there is any resolve left in America to defend Vietnam.
