So you're telling me management at CSCO decided collectively to take a significant hit on their individual net worths so the company could buy back stock at a lower price to pay out later when options were exercised? If you can prove it, you ought to find someone who sold CSCO in that time frame; I'm sure they'd love to sue.

Companies say "we believe the stock is too high" in very rare circumstances where they honestly believe fair market value to be below what the stock market values them at. Warren Buffet has done it. Most companies aren't honest enough to.
