When politicians are able to manipulate the public understanding of their work product, a country is in trouble. There is a reason the Constitution provided special benefits for free media. The media is, of course, free to walk away from its responsibility. But allowing a president and political party to hide the results of their legislation is pretty dangerous to a democracy, if you ask me.
