Hi longnshort; Re: "Of every one hundred men, ten shouldn’t even be there, eighty are nothing but targets, nine are real fighters…We are lucky to have them…They make the battle. Ah, but the One…One of them is a Warrior…and He will bring the others back.” ~Hericletus, 500 B.C";

Love the quote and wondered why I'd never seen it before. So I asked Hericletus about that quote (using my greek Ouija board) and he said:

In English this translates roughly as "nice quote, wish I had thought of it".

Or perhaps a better translation is "all of our Greek men were warriors, this sounds like something a squishy 21st century liberal society would say about their "men" ."

P.S. I couldn't find who really said this but it certainly wasn't an ancient Greek. If it was, please provide me with the quote in Greek, or perhaps the Latin translation if the original Greek is lost. I love the quote and I'd like to know where it comes from.

Also, if I'd written it, I'd have replaced "eighty" with "ninety" because I understand math, LOL.
