I originally wasn't going to respond to this answer as it seemed so silly to me. Because your answer is really irrelevant to what I am saying. .........But here is the thing bentway, if all the reasoning given here was palatable to America, our politicians would be stumbling all over themselves enacting laws to restrict guns - especially after some of the horrific tragic examples of gun violence. Politicians are NOT doing that because the American public for the most part doesn't side with the thinking expressed here today. Maybe someday as Koan says, but I sure don't see it anytime soon. In the meantime all you do is manage to piss off those people who are by far the majority of gun owners who are strong upstanding citizens.
