Not sure. If China wants to be, in the future, where the US is now, their ultimate goal is to have the sole trusted currency such that they can use it to skim wealth from all the worlds production thus not having to rely solely on generating wealth from its own production. So the end game might be for China to stop the Western dominant influence on the gold price, reveal their gold holdings, and to let the price of gold and the value of the Yuan appreciate while other currencies are discredited.

But yes, for now, it seems that China should be loving a low POG...as should anybody who happens to have the horrible problem of having too much fiat and not knowing what to spend it on...
