5/27/2014 - Alderon Signs Benefits Agreement with the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Obtains Surface and Mining Leases and Receives Approvals for All Conditions Required as Part of the Provincial Environmental Assessment Release. Since Altius owns 32.9 million shares of Alderon; latest news is very positive for Altius Minerals. Only financing needs to be ironed out before the construction of the Kami mine can get moving. IMO, once the financing deal is signed, Altius is very likely to sell its 32.9 million shares of Alderon and use the proceed to pay down debt and pay a dividend.
