OT Moon, One other thing that appalls me is that as an owner of said Nest product I was never notified by Nest or Google. Were it not for news stories, actually only one that I saw, or chatter on CNBC I would have no idea that I had a defective product. I bought mine directly from Nest online. They have my physical address, my email address and my phone number. What's the problem? Oh right, I might return it and ask for my money back. We certainly wouldn't want that. Annie
