Yikes! Being forced to read my former words. Aren't you a clever one, lol..

At first blush, I regret the harsh tone I was using which implied that I didn't care if people were going to be thrown off the bus. Because I do care. At the same time, what I thought was inevitable then I still think is inevitable re jobs, cuts in Medicare, etc. Obama didn't raise taxes but did raise spending. The economy is still mucking along while the Treasury bleeds. I still don't see a happy ending out there so will stand by what I said in that post.

It may be that you are mistaking what I said I thought was going to have to happen with what I was wanting to happen?

I voted for Obama and had a set of expectations which were proving to be unrealistic, hence my frustration and blunt language. As for how I feel now, it's basically apolitical which is kind of a relief because I don't feel compelled to keep up with day to day politics...ha.

Actually I'm serious. I think the country will continue to undergo a series of transformative changes that neither party has the power to prevent. Thus I am more apolitical than at any time in my life.
