In Israel and other countries the granting of a private weapon permit is neither an inherent statutory right nor automatically approved. And that's because they don't have our own very unique second amendment nor did they have our special 'founders' who were so in sync with modern day conservatives. How they can promote their interpretation of the second amendment with a straight face never ceases to amaze me.
