(1) To support this, you need to provide some evidence.
(2) Assuming you do, what happens in a single state is not very good evidence for the effect. You'd need to present evidence that, for example, Washington State didn't have prosperity until they made this single change (and nothing else) and this made the difference. Of course Washington State has a lot of other reasons for being prosperous, for example, Microsoft is based there.
(3) And finally, if we accept your evidence at face value, it suggests that minimum wages should be left to the individual states. You're claiming that Washington State was able to improve its economy despite Oregon and Idaho having lower wages. Same applies to the other states. Let the states choose. God knows that the cost of living is different in Alaska and Arkansas; shouldn't the minimum wage be different as well?
