Take comfort in the fact that this j would like to have lost only 7, and has many copies of his head staring at him as he steps into any given position. On a more positive note, have you ever seen tihs one:

One other (bullish and more speculative) example in the thread talks about selling April cpq 85p for 27 and buying the 60p for 7 (bull put spread). If the underlying takes a dump, and you get assigned, you're limited to 5pts loss. If it rallies, you close at will.
