The reviewers do like the Sonys a lot. The Apple store didn't have Sonys to try. My main need was for comfort and it's hard to beat over-ear headsets. Those Sonys are typical of cushioned on-ear sets and they usually have to fit too snugly for long duration comfort for me. I got the B&O because I listened critically for the first time in a long time- I used to be heavy duty into Stereo HiFi years ago. Now that I've reached old fart age, I've not lost sound volume, just sound clarity at times.. The B&O set is clear as can be.
