There is a huge difference between the "unemployment" rate and the "employment" rate. What percentage are looking for work , quit looking for work or never wanted to work and are not accounted for because they are not currently on of filing for unemployment or their benefits ran out. B.S. The unemployment rate in the Seattle area is 5%.
