I'm not going to go back and pull up my previous posts, but if you didn't read them and consider them, it's not my fault. I HAVE been doing my best to figure out how serious the problems are and posting my research/analysis, FWIW. Not that I'm any great market prognosticator or anything.
I did say something to the effect that if was time to get defensive in semi equip stocks generally a few weeks back, and was selling my Cymer at 24 1/2. I got replies to the effect "this is stupid, but it's your money." And I don't think anything's "obvious", since a lot of people said it was too late to sell as of opening on Thursday and the industry has tanked a lot since the Thu. open.
Finally, I don't agree that everyone knows or appreciates the problems. Just look at the posts here on SI in the past couple of weeks. And even if it's too late for some people, if we've lost money here, at least we ought to get the benefit of the lesson we've paid for. |
