Doug,

"I think most people who day trade lose big after a while."

Having toyed with day trading for the last couple of weeks, I can't disagree with you more. There are many "strategies", "disciplines" etc in daytrading, just like the Buffet school or the Lynch school of long term investing. I have been trying them out and all seems to work fine. So far, I did about 50 trades with winners outpacing losers better than 4-1. They also carry far less risk than holding positions in volatile markets.

At times like these, I think it is a great way to make some money. The only problem I see that most "normal" investors would have is time. Day trading requires constant undivided attention, real time quotes and market indicator systems.
