Hi to John, Dennis, Marshall, Grape Wiz and all the other NPs... I just went over to the FOOL site and found this listing of Mills mall developments and planned sites which adds to that just posted by John: I am not sure how to copy the message no. over here so here it is in all its glory!

Repost:

King, At the annual meeting in May, management
told us that they had just returned from a conven-
tion of mall developers, and that Rainforest Cafe
had been determined by them to be a "Must Have"
ingredient for a modern mall. Based on that idea,
people that frequent the Motley Fool message
boards within AOL try to post news from their
regional newspapers and elsewhere that might
give us a clue as to what developing malls might
include a Rainforest Cafe. Its our way of trying
to piece together a road map of the future regard-
ing the Company and its stock.

There appear to be three major mall developers in
this country; Mills Corp, Taubman Corp, and Simon
DeBartolo Group. So far, Mills is the most conspic-
uous developer that most often includes a
Rainforest Cafe in its plans. So, I (and others)
attempt to track Mills activities as a predictor of
future Rainforest Cafe locations. To give more
detail of what Mills is up to, here is a note I posted
on AOL's MF board recently:

Following is a list of existing 'Super Regional' Mills
Malls and also everything Mills Corporation seems to
be planning for the next few years. We have to
consider that wherever a Mills project is being
developed, a Rainforest Cafe might be included.

Five of the existing seven 'Super Regional' Mills Malls
now include or have signed a contract for a Rainforest
Cafe as follow (marked by *):

Existing:
Potomac Mills Washington DC
Gurnee Mills Gurnee IL *
Franklin Mills Philadelphia
Ontario Mills Los Angeles *
Sawgrass Mills Ft Lauderdale *
Grapevine Mills Dallas/Ft Worth *
Arizona Mills Tempe AZ *

Future plans include the following Mills projects.
Based on what I've read on AOL's Motley Fool
message boards and elsewhere, my guesses as to
where future Rainforest Cafes might be included
are marked by ** :

Under Development:
City Mills Orange Cty CA Q4 '98 (Too close to Disney?)
Katy Mills Houston Q3 1999 **
Concord Mills Concord NC Q3 1999 **
North Aurora Mills
North Aurora IL -- (Too close to Chicago?)
Candlestick Mills San Fransisco -- **
Meadowland Mills Northern NJ -- **

Under Study:
Nashville, TN ** (Opry Mills)
Toronto. Canada **
Atlanta, GA **
Oahu, HI **
Weymouth MA ** (Far enough away from Burlington MA?)

Let me know if you have any questions. Dan
