Re: American Realty Capital Healthcare Trust, Inc. (HCT)

I made 3 different buys based on your earlier post. One in the IRA and two different Buys in the taxable account. I probably will just take the stock. What are your plans?

I also have been buying DOC another small medical REIT. I own MPW from earlier buys w/ avg cost @ $8.61/share. I think the Medical REITs will continue to do well but only want those companies that own the majority of their assets in medical buildings, urgent care facilities and less exposure in senior assisted care facilities. Anything that is reimbursable from Obamacare and/or Medicare makes my list..

Are there any other medical Reits you looked at and might be good to own?

FWIW, sorry to hear about Ron's loss. I am a saver and have a very hard time spending my hard earned dividend income on anything but essentials. Therefore, every year I now try to identify a few "fun" projects and/or charities to help , trips w/family & friends, and/or things to buy (many things I would never typically buy for myself). My new spending spree is small like unexpected gifts to friends, a nice pair of hiking shoes (even though my old shoes are fine) and more donations to those less fortunate than me (ie. KIVA).

You never get younger so I try to enjoy every day like it is the last.
