Your post #1731 gave me the confidence to post what "my friend" was told by Archibold Friday. (BTW he holds between very high 5 figure and very low 6 figures of shares, not dollars. Also BTW he said Archibold returned his phone call.)

1. As has been consistently stated for the last few months, PRODUCTION IS ON TRACK FOR 1Q98. (They hope to be in production mode in January, but they will not committ to that. They need a safety factor, and so they state 1Q98).

2. Cal Reed is still at the helm until the end of this year, while Dawson gets up to speed on what's going on in NI. Cal Reed, as we all can tell, is not a hypster. He does not issue many press releases, nor IMO should he or the company, unless there is specific news to report, which there is not. (I have other stocks which are volatile, and the companies do not make press releases everytime the stock goes up or down.)

3. There are many OEM's that want to purchase the product NOW. CR will not enter into agreements until OEM's inspect production line products. (IMO that may change when Dawson takes over. Maybe enter into an agreement, make an announcment and get the stock up, again IMO.)

4. Line 2, (I believe) is producing a quality product at a 50% run rate, but not at a higher rate. I guess the company must decide if they want to begin production at a lower run rate, or tweak the line to get a higher run rate. (Let's poll the SI contributors to this board and see what they think. Shall we begin production at a 50% rate, or tweak the line for another month or two to get it up to say 75-80%).

5. My friend and I were thinking about going to NI and checking out the facilities. He asked DA if that would be a problem, and was told no. He just didn't want us there when the analysts tour was going on! Hey, what analyst's tour. We don't know when, but we think it might be sometime in January.

So there you have it. More "my friend talked to DA at the company and said so and so...". Take it with a grain of salt or two, and please remember, these are forward looking statements which entail a great deal of risk. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. If you don't like what you read, don't read it!
