Just watched a Modi interview two days ago on NDTV. He said very categorically that on considering any issue, he would challenge people toeing a line being pushed by lobbyists to convince him that instead the issue would be bad for the people. I seen this online issue to be such an issue. By allowing Amazon type online retailers, seems to me that Modi feels that the "common people" stand to benefit not the PAC groups.

I am glad to see this starting to happen. Obama has a lesson to learn from Mr. Modi.
