Apple Inc. Needs to Join the Dow -- So Who's Out?

Is it time to insert Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL ) into the Dow Jones Industrial Average(DJINDICES: ^DJI ) --
and what unfortunate ticker would the consumer electronics giant replace? Let's talk about that.

I disagree with the Author's choice of DJIA removal. However, I do agree that AAPL should be
included. The DJIA was set up to represent the main U.S. Industrial companies. VZ should be
kicked out. This segment is adequately represented by Ma Bell (T). VZ is a utility anyway, so
let her go join the DJUA.
