Hi, Del!! Where did you go? I missed your posts the last few days. I hope I didn't hurt your feelings because I don't like Mr. Rogers as much as you do!!! He is very nice, though. Sorry!!!
I was in labor for seventy-two hours. I was still at home with my husband during the first part of it, where there are pretty long periods of time between contractions, which are fairly mild at that point. I realized I was in labor, and thought, "Oh, this is nothing--I can do this!" During these pauses you are very generally excited, and there are probably more female hormones surging through your body than at any other time during your life. Anyway, I cannot imagine having sex with doctors and nurses around, and by the time I got to the hospital I was in agony, anyway, and sex would have been the last thing on (even) my mind.
I can hardly wait until science and medicine are so advanced that the guys have the babies!!!! Of course, as the very old joke goes, civilization would die out completely in one generation. It hurts more than anything anyone could imagine!!! |
