"I have not locked my front door or car door, except once or twice in 30 years. Few things threaten me.

I am more worried about the poor, downtrodden and people who are having a hard time and my children and grandchildren."

I figured as much, when I see you use terms like "her people" when referring to Condoleezza, and when you classify all people in polarizing categorizations like us (liberals) and them (conservatives). People who live sheltered lives of comfort do that kind of thing alot. It makes them feel righteous to "worry" about "those" people, and spend all their time attacking other people who just happen to be alot like them. I'm guessing you're an old white guy...right?

You live in a sheltered community like Shepard where safety is adequately provided by the services you fund. So naturally you don't want anyone else to be able protect themselves from home invasion or other forms of violent attack, because you "worry" about "those" people.

Here's a thought. Get off your ass and go help "those" people, spend some time living among them and then get back to me with your perspective.
