Sweet things ahead?

Judging from the way things are going I suspect the company (and the rest of us) would like to see this stock end the year on a high note.

Why? Well, in the next few weeks investors will have to determine which securities are worth holding on to and which are ripe for selling so as to take full advantage of 1997 tax deductions. The company surely does not want us to sell! (I am long and quite stubborn about it)

Another reason would be that from year to year the average yearly price of the stock will either attract or detract other large investors. Although I do not have the average price for '96 in front of me I suspect it was in the 2-3 dollar range.

The company is moving in the right direction and perhaps some icing on this cake before the year's end would be all the more sweeter. I agree that shorting this company is close to suicide.
