President Barack Obama said Friday that he decided to keep Congress in the dark about the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl because pulling off the sensitive deal “required no publicity.”

He’s repeating McDonough/Rhodes talking points that have been thoroughly debunked. One can only conclude the time lag, and geographic distance from his handlers, has interrupted his capacity to restructure and reset his position.
The White House said Bergdahl was sick, then said well, no, he wasn’t actually ‘sick’ sick.
The White House said threats were made against Bergdahl’s life, then said there were no ‘specific’ threats.
The White House said the deal needed to remain a secret, yet the exact details were in the Washington Post four months ago. ......
