As far as saying CO2 is not a global warming gas that's just absurd. If you get enough of it in the atmosphere then THIS planet is going to warm up and is now because of all the CO2 we've put into the atmosphere since the industrial revolution began.

As far as our not being able to do much about it you may be right. China is going to try and cap their emissions and other developed nations will also try to lessen theirs but developing countries aren't going to want to be perpetually stuck at the bottom to make some rich environmentalists happy.

Unless we can come up with some really cheap and efficient energy sources that can benefit everybody we're going to keep on keepin' on toward a hotter world.
