Raw data is actual data. Adjustment provides opportunities to push the data where you want it.

We know adjustments of temperature data always ends up cooling the past and warming the recent periods. The adjustment vs actual should be more random .... we can tell much of the warming is created by fallacious adjustments.

Further, on the subject, there are now 10 yrs of US surface temperature data from NOAA's USCRN which require NO adjustment. This dataset only has ten years of data and shows NO warming:



No warming for the past decade. In fact, a slight cooling. I'll have a followup post on this.
