There's two sides to the Laffer Curve, but (R)'s pretend there's only one, lower taxes and revenues go up. The example they use repeatedly is when Kennedy did it, because he was a liberal (D), you know. But they never continue with "he cut the top rate from 91% to 71%". It was at 91% because we were paying off WWII.

The other side of the Laffer Curve is, if you cut taxes beyond the magic "sweet spot", revenues will decline. Why aren't (D)'s using Laffer's theory to RAISE taxes?
