Funny you should mention how long it takes to read this thread.
Once I found this place. How?? I have no idea, but was so enhralled
I read the first 3000 posts in less than a month.... I found myself
having to ask few questions because Sam Cohen, DRC and others did
such a good job of reading my mind a few months before that. I started 1997 with the goal of being able to apply my scientific/engineering/and logic skills to my investing so that I could make more rational, less emotional, and more successful trades.
The progress I have made in this last year has been incredible and I still feel like a newbie with a world of knowledge yet to learn.
None of this would have been possible if it weren't for Richard, Derek, Andy, Dave Evans, GW, Bill S, Chan, etc, etc, etc.....
Needless to say,I think I over acheived my goals for this year and have much to look forward too in years ahead.
