There is a 400mm debt offering for QNTM said to be coming or presently in the market. They could easily support that and it would be a very bullish statement if they still bring this offering in the face of this volitilty. I would suspect they would hold off and price it 1st qtr 98 but will post when I hear more about it. Maybe there is a poster on SI who is aware of the offering and could comment. I believe they love the low rate enviroment and want to lock it in. I heard it is a conventional longer term issue and do not know it rating or level of priority (Sr or Sub) Egg
