Absolutely! I guess I shouldn't be surprised you don't know that.

Windmills don't provide reliable uninterrupted power because the wind varies and sometimes stops entirely. But people want reliable power that's there when they want it. The solution is to couple wind turbines with gas turbines which can be turned on with the flick of a switch when needed.
