The VA is swamped with the results of the Cheney/Bush disastrous, totally unnecessary invasion of Iraq that also took the military emphasis off Afghanistan letting the Taliban regroup resulting in more unnecessary maimed Americans while the repugs put on their Support the Troops bumper stickers and continued their underfunding, understaffing and negative technology efforts which Shinseki was not able to overcome even though the mountain of paper suffocating the approval process was significantly reduced.

You can't defend and divert from the Cheney/Bush $3 Trillion Iraq disaster with its thousands of maimed and otherwise injured Americans that is the primary cause of the VA problems now even though your sleaze ball crowd will try.
