In the excruciating video clip below, Ms. Hillary assures us that the Taliban Five present no threat to the United States. Rather, they only threaten Afghanistan and Pakistan. We can infer that events in Afghanistan and Pakistan do not affect the security of the United States, in which case we must wonder what we were ever doing in Afghanistan to begin with. We are apparently to forget that Obama has previously identified Afghanistan and Pakistan as critical fronts in the war on terror.

I wish I could offer a prize to the first reader to identify the last time Ms. Hillary publicly deployed the tone of voice she uses in the clip. I can’t do that, but I can say that Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson would have a significant advantage in the contest.
