Mel, your "Count Rockula" post was wonderful. Keep it up, and do post them for posterity on the "IOM Humor Thread".

Rocky. your attempts to salvage some credibility are noteworthy, but your arguments are still, in the words of Jethro's Granny, "pitiful, just pitiful."

I think this thread needs some good bullish entertainment to calm our frazzled nerves. Since it's almost New Years, predictions about IOM are in order. I'll start it off.

*******************Ed's Amazing 1998 IOM Predictions*******************

Before July 1998, Zip-100 will sell for $50-retail, $25-OEM.

The disks will go for $60/10-pack, and there will be NO Nomai in sight.

By this time next year, 20 million NEW zips and 200 million NEW disks will have been sold.

HiFuD will be Sony's next big good idea killed by incompetant marketing, ala Betamax/8mm/Hi-8/...

***********************************************************************

Again, these predictions are meant to be for entertainment. I invite you to make your own. The winner will receive an all expenses paid kudos from me, this time next year.
